Hello everyone!
Can anyone let me know some details on Duke's background? I'm maing a custom of him in a t-shirt and so anything that might appear on his shirt or maybe an arm tattoo would be cool - 'Semper Fi' if he was a Marine, college football team, that sort of thing. I am very new to GI Joe (I've just started customising the figures) so I don't know anything about even a guy like Duke. I figured you lot would be the people to ask. Military branch, college, home base, and so on would be very useful. Any suggestions gratefully recieved. |

I don't know crap about Duke honestly, but this is a start... Here's Duke's filecard from Yojoe.com. http://www.yojoe.com/filecard/83/duke.shtml Welcome to the 'Tank, by the way! |

Well there a few differant Duke back stories...as far as I'm concerned this is the only one for me though.
YOJOE.COM | Filecard Gallery - Duke I would also add that in some of the DDP Comics Duke's Dad was there and he was sort of a liberal character and his mom had died from cancer when he was young...not that I have any idea how that would reflect in a custom...just giving some info. |

Wow, thanks for the quick replies. Looks like the Fort Benning 'Folow Me' would make for a good t-shirt, and maybe the Airborne Special Forces arrowhead as a tattoo.

Duke did things that most people couldn't he had X-ray vision and never swore. He never dated more than 3 girls and like to drink cognac on Monday's. I think an emblem of a rocking chair and a k47 would fit him nice.
