I thought the TRU where I live was pretty good but apparently it's not compared to some of yours. They tend to get everything in eventually but not in big numbers. Cases of Joes are almost always one at a time (I think they did get two cases of Wave 7 they put out at the same time). They've done well stocking their own exclusives (the officers 3-packs shelfwarm here) and they still have Night Watch sets, and they've restocked the vehicles at least four times and just got the DVD sets. They haven't had any new comic sets in a long time though because of the pegwarmers. I don't think the Duke/Red Star wave ever came to our TRU and of course no Iron Grenadier wave. They only got two cases of Wave 8 that I saw and that was months and months ago, and no Wave 9 that I've ever seen unless someone bought a whole case including Torpedo and Wild Bill before I got there...which is possible.

I just picked up a BAT at TRU the other day. A guy at Comic Con I was talking with said they hold everything until the "official release date" where Walmart and Target release things when they get it in. I've had pretty good luck at my local TRUs.

There's one factor of the toy buying universe that alot of adult collectors seem to forget. Kids. Kids buy toys too. I can't speak for anybody else but I don't want the tear-streaked faces of the thousands of children who can't get the toys they want (and probably deserve more than we do) haunting my dreams after all the TRUs close because a bunch of people in their 20s and 30s can't find action figures.
"Sorry little Tiffany, I'm afraid you can't have that Barbie Dream House. You see all the Toys R Uses closed because the grown men wouldn't stop whining about only being able to track down six B.A.T.S instead of seven. Better luck next year kid." |

Being an employee of TRU ican tell you that we do carry good suff, But are bombarded by scalpers who buy out all the good stuff and leave nothing for collectors or the kids.. Which is why I`ve made it my goal to thwart scalpers!!! COBRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
