I think it is still worth it making customs. Because of how much time, effort, and money is put into it, it make that figure come out so detailed and flawless. We have been disappointed with some of the figures that Hasbro has came out with eversince the 25th and when we see a custom of a figure that is already out, we are thrown back because of how awesome they look. I've even paid some good money for customs of figures that Hasbro has already put out because they came out so much better. So I say Keep On Customizing, It's Worth It!!!
I do love the new 7packs, but there are a few heads that I think can be changed. So once I get my 7packs I'll be hitting up some customizers for some alternate heads. |

Ill buy both sven packs eventually. Kitbash the parts I like with my existing customs and use the rest for trades or fodder. I think they were lazy in using so many Viper legs on these figs.

Isn't the whole point of doing customs for fun anyways?
People make customs of figures that have been out for awhile all the time, not just figures that haven't been released by Hasbro. They do it to "fix" (in their opinions) what Hasbro did wrong. They do it to update the figure, make it cooler. And they do it because they like to. What does it matter if Hasbro releases the figure or not?

The process of making customs is half the appeal for me. I do make some to fill gaps in my collection, but a lot of them are made just for fun.

yes its still worth it cause your custom still could be better than what Hasbro releases plus you have the personal pride that goes along with the custom

The majority of my customs are filling in gaps. Tweaks to existing figures are just that. I never remake figures once they come out maybe just touch em up. I think it is different here in Oz, if a figure needs parts from 3 figures we are up for $60. So it just doesn't make sense in my eyes.

I say YES! For several reasons:
1. New characters- I love making new figures to compliment the existing Joes & expand my "Joeverse". 2. Females - Hasbro will never make enough to satisfy me. Just look at the latest showing : 14 figures & only 1 female figure. 3. Taking existing characters & given them a new twist. Lance858, drbindy & others have shown what you can do with imagination & creativity. 4. And finally, just for the enjoyment of creating something that didn't exist before you started it. Well, I think there is a difference between customs and factory made toys. Maybe people should display there customs together maybe?
Kinda funny that there is no SGT SLAUGHTER.

I also tweak figures or create fillers (skymate ) and the pride and satisfaction is great but the money involved to create customs can be a bit much.
There are some awesome customs out there and i scratch my head at hasbro sometimes with parts choice so i will always tweak but some of the figs in the 7packs are perfect.
