One of the things I really liked about LOTR Risk was the different map... it was really cool to play the same game with a new map. If we got a Joe version of RISK, I hope they could change up the boarders of the map (obviously, the continents are the same as regular RISK, but it would be nice if the boundaries changed a bit.) Anyway, If we got one, I would certianly buy it.

I would buy it. I buy dang near every version of Risk I find. Even though I am terrible at it it is still my favorite board game. can't wait for Risk Legacy to see how that game-play works. If Metal Gear Solid can get a Risk I don't see why it couldn't be done for Joe.

A GI Joe Axis and Allies version would the balls...meaning awesome! I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I'd also like to see a Joe Chess set. I'm in the process of teaching my daughter how to play chess, so I've been playing it quite a bit lately.

Risk is such a boring game anyway, who cares? I wonder why Hasbro has never used its toy properties within the boardgame "Heroscape," which I haven't actually played but is much closer in scope and design to a game I would play than Risk is.

Along those lines, I would love it if Hasbro licenced WhizKids to make Joe Heroclix. That would be Awesome!

i remember Axis and Allies...my friends and i would play by our own rules (meaning not turn based) and it ended up just a chaotic mess on and around the game board

I wonder, for that matter, why Hasbro doesn't release a set of "gaming rules" utilizing Joes; include pieces of the rules with certain figures, etc. It might help tap into the current boys-toys vibe.

Joe Clix WOULD be awesome, yes. Absolutely. And that actually, to me, seems like the right tie in venue for G.I. Joe in game format.
