Almost everyone in my family hoards stuff. Books, Farm Equipment, Cars, Junk, Dolls, Antiques... Almost to the point where they're continually broke and struggling to pay bills, or just don't have the money when something important comes up. And it NEVER goes away. Until someone dies and everybody else has to wade through all the crap. And if you've seen my collection- I definitely didn't manage to dodge that bullet myself. After viewing some of the comments on here- And not just the ones I view as negative- My outlook on it has changed. DO I get frustrated very badly when I have to dig through a box full of plastic crack and find myself getting upset because I've got too much stuff ?(In my opinion anyway) Most definitely. Will I be wasteful next time just to cut corners and not have to actually deal with the situation? Nope. |

I throw them out with the packaging. I did allot of army building vehicle drivers and would just knife the driver out of the packaging and then toss the rest in the trash can.

I bought a POC Joe mech just for Kickstart's head... gave the mech to my nephew. Same with the POC Rage... all I wanted was the AV officer. If I don't want a crap vehicle I need to get rid of it somehow ASAP.

Hahah! You're gonna make me fall off the wagon And then throw the wagon out. Quote:
I keep coming across that Mech at Ross. And it's SOOOO damn cheap, but yeah... DO NOT WANT that Mech. Just the driver's head. I know that has to make zero sense to some people. But when you know what you do and do not want in your collection you kind of have to stick to it. It keeps you sane, and leaves space for the things you already have, and the things you're planning on buying later on. |

toys for tots only takes unopened toys. And....I would NEVER give them a toy thats incomplete....
Thats just wrong. Just cuz a kid is underprivileged doesn't mean they should have to accept people's incomplete throw a ways. just donate to a church thrift shop.
