I went to target yesterday and picked up both battlepacks and a was going to get the cm punk 4" brawler figure. ( It sucks that he doesnt have the cobra symbol tattoo, but I understand that they couldnt put it on due to licensing.) I figured since I had a couple of the 5 dollar off coupons I would use it and get the cm punk figure for 3 bucks. I got to the register and the sales clerk said they are no longer taking the 5 dollar off coupons since too many people are printing them out and taking advantage of them, and that I should get a new one in the mail soon. I printed mine off the net like most people and don't know if I will get any coupons in the mail like that especially if you have to do something special or be part of any group. I am on the emailer.
Since they upped the price on the 4 inchers to 8 bucks each, the coupons came in really handy. Especially since money is tight right now. I had to skip on the cm punk due to that crap. I thought I heard they were going to lower the prices to be more reasonable recently. Maybe thats elsewhere.
The battle packs are awesome btw. I can't wait for the rest to come out! There is too much awesome stuff out now lol, I hope I can get it all especially the gi joes and transformers classics.

the coupon bit is very old news at this point. there are lengthy discussion on it already.

basically, it boiled down to store clerk stupidity for taking fake coupons and some malicious person(s) modifying the coupons for unintended use.

Thanks, I was about to ask how one "takes advantage" of a coupon. I assumed "takes advantage" means "they actually used it and bought more stuff, how dare they!"
