Is Gung Ho supposed to be a gay joke? I mean, seriously. The outfit color. Shirtless, with the vest..He really does look like a member of the village people and says things like "Gung Ho Joe is Going low"

While when I look back on lots of other aspects of the 80's and wonder "what were we thinking back then" (for example, nobody thought that George Michael was gay when he was in Wham? What's up with that?), but Gung Ho really seems like too much to have been unintentional.
