Nope, but I think he/she caught the eye of some rich boys from Park Slope.

OMG I can't believe someone actually remembers Playworld Toys. I worked for one out in Long Island during the holiday season of 1993.

Back when I was living in the East Village during my stint with Moran Tugboat (That was almost 15 years ago, damn) anyway, there used to be a guy on Avenue C with a shopping cart that he obliviously lived out of who had a 94' Cobra Commander melted to it, he would always give me little one liners written on folded up cards marked "Wisdom for the masses". Well one of them was a penciled out script for the PSA with Deepsix being underwater with those kids.
So which one of you was Billy-Dee-Down-On-C?

just got back to san francisco. New york was fun. Good memories there. I hit up the KB TOYS in queens by jackson heights / roosevelt metro #7 train stop. I picked up the set of 10 valor vs venom figures there, lol. I was like, what the hell is this 2003 crap doing here ??? So i did the logical thing... i bought one of each of that crap. I'm a sick completest... i need professional help. In the meantime, imma' just continue to buy up some joes.
If anyone else out there is as sick as me, go over there and get yerselves some valor vs venom figs, cause they had plenty more. ( I did buy the last viper though... :( ... |

I'm from upstate NY but I originally grew up on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.Back when I was a kid the only toys were from small toys shops in Jerome Ave,Bainbridge Ave. and Fordham Road or if I was extra special the Toys R Us in Yonkers.I still remember this small store on Jerome that had all those great 80's Joes thats where I got my first Skystriker for my birthday
