Okay rumor going around town (and being reported at some other sites) is that the single carded Joes are being spotted for $9.99 at places like Shopko (??) and Target in CA. I don't want to throw fuel on the fire, but is this what we can expect in the next few months? By Christmas will we be paying $9.99 for a single figure?

Last I checked K-Mart was $6, Walmart and TRU was $7, Target was $8 and KB had them priced at $9. I'm sure this has been covered many time over, but why do the prices fluxuate store to store? For the most part all the other lines (SW, DC and Marvel) seem to be approximately the same price wherever you go (give or take a $).......why is Joe all over the place? And if one store starts charging $10 a pop and they continue to sell won't the others eventually follow suit?

This was a rumor and nothing but a rumor. I have seen the figs for 6.97 at wally, 7.99 at target and 6.99 at k-mart. Until someone can show proof of another price increase consider it false so do not worry.

I'll believe it when I see it. But who ever is starting these rumors without any proof has nothing better to do than to start a riot in the TANK!!

Also KB is a mall based store and they increased the price due to the line being hot. They have done this for years. Target, I do not know about but I would say it,s the same. So far wally and kmart and even TRU are about the same. Also it seems prices change from region to region based on income levels. I have seen this at different TRU,s that can handle a bit higher price than others. I am going to close this one for right now.
