Does anyone know that price was for the graded figures at thge Con? Wouldn't it have been better to just buy the figure and get it graded yourself?

Kinda convenient too that all of Hasbro's figure grade either 9 or 9.5

we do this to ourselves with ebay. everybody bids early and makes the price go skyrocketing up. I wait till it is near the end, if I'm lucky I get it low.

My comment was in regards to someone who has the extra money and would pay for that AFA graded figure as opposed to getting it graded yourself.You could be the worlds smartest neurosurgeon making a six figure salary or be a suave billionaire playboy but the fact that you have money to spend and pay the extra money to have things done for you I still feel is the lazy way out of it.If they had a little more common sense then they would know the cheaper ways about it but I guess thats just the frugal mentality in me.Even if I had a billion dollar bank account I would still go the extra mile to save every little cent I can

you can grade it yourself, but you'd be pretty pissed, if you sent in some figures, and they didn't come back 95. This was a guarantee, so it was worth it to me.

- I think it was $81 bucks for commander 9.0 (both)
- $108 bucks for commander 9.5 (both)
- $190 bucks for commander 10. (both)

now i never saw any 10's, nor 95 blacks.. but i saw both 90's, and the blue 95's. Hope this helps somewhat...
