After reading up to volume 11 so far, the dude I generally thought of as like a rather vapid goody goody soldier in the cartoon is actually one hella tough SOB in Marvel. He shows up as a no nonsense drill sergeant and in one issue they really go into that. Then he spits on the twins, takes a beat down, and ends up in a standoff with a saw viper. Damn.
