i've run into a couple of tankers here in the socal area. all of us are pretty cool up to the point when the store opens and its like a roller derby to the toy aisle lol.

dont know if it was a tanker or even a collector but ive encountered a guy buying joes once.we didnt speak, i politely waited my turn,while looking at another toyline. as long as a collector or whoever dont reach in front of me or grab somthing out my hand,its all good. as for starting a convo,i'll leave dat up to them. to be honest,collectng toys are my guilty plessure and im still slightly embarrassed about it,

Met several at the Con.. and then I associate with several of them due to living in the same city or near the same city. Sometimes it has it's perks. we all look out for eachother when the new stuff arrives we let eachother know and if one of us knows another is needing a figure or something and we have the money we will pick it up for them.

We trust eachother enough that if that person can't settle up with us right then, they can settle up with us later by either paying us back or returning the favor.

the only time i met someone else buying joes was a few months ago. she was actually on her cell talking to her bf/husband and getting kinda frustrated because she had no idea which figures he was talking about. so i offered to help and got her the figures - I almost regretted it since there was one Mjr Bludd left and gave it to her. Good thing I found 2 the next day at a different store. I told her to tell the guy that he's lucky - if she wasnt there I would have snagged up the Major.
