I have some new MISB vehicles I am preparing for long-term storage. I have not seen 10 gallon-sized zip-lock bags at the grocery stores and not sure what to use.
I read somewhere that it is not advisable to seal collectibles because of the nature of mold that may be present in the air at the time of closing them up. I would be more concerned about what damage humidity could do if not sealed. What processes do you use?

I have been toying with the idea of sealing them in Mylar with oxygen absorbers like you do with food.

I do the sterillite bins, as well, for MOC singles and MIB vehicles. Living in FL mold is a big problem, but so far everything is squeaky clean.

I thought they did make over-sized ziploc bags. Maybe Target or Walmart?

On a related note, *where* do you store your collectibles. My house is FULL. I need to do something with them, but I can't afford offsite storage and I don't want to store them in the hot garage. Does anyone store their toys in the garage? If so for how long and what kind of long-term damage has it caused?
