I always thought Dr. Doom seemed like Destro's uncle: Metal mask, inventor of weapons, determined to rule the world, dictator of a small Eastern European country. It's not much of a stretch to have Latveria border Trans-Carpathia and Darklonia.

I use a boatload of TV/Movie characters in my joeverse. They're mostly Vietnam era.

There seems to be a big gap between Joseph Colton's squad and the current group so I've filled in the gaps in my joeverse..

Special Operations Group Alpha - The A-Team created by Gen Flagg (father of the deceased Flagg) in the wake of the disbanding of the original team and Colton joining the Adventure team. Culled from the best of the Green Berets..

After a few missions, Braddock is made a POW (segue into the Missing In Action movies) and Trautman takes over and a few of the A-Team members get promotions.

Towards the end of the war, Michael Long and Action Jackson end their tours. John Rambo and Trautman get transferred to another unit (which gets wiped out) and the team gets some new additions, now drawing from all over the military..

Colonel Morrison takes over for one mission which is a clandestine operation only conducted by a few members to rob the Bank of Hanoi. Morrison is killed and all evidence of the operation disappears leaving the four members to be remanded into custody, they escape and become the soldiers for hire, the A-Team..

SOG Alpha is disbanded and the concept abandoned until a new threat called RIOT shows up, a new SOG Bravo is created dubbed 'Eagle Force'.

In the late 80's Eagle Force is disbanded and a new SOG Charlie is created...

The members include characters from Predator, the Commando toy line and the Rambo - Forces of Freedom toy line...most of the members die tragically under various circumstances..

I'm slowly working on customs on all of them...

In the present day, I have Lt Cmdr Harmon 'Hammer' Raab as the joe's JAG officer and my Flagg has a few pilots from Top Gun and a Master Chief in charge of the galley called Casey Ryback (Under Siege)

In terms of Villains, I have the venom guys from Mask and the lead guy from the first season of Viper as Cobra offsiders (he was originally a villain after all).

A couple of the *Wars characters: officers for both Joe & Cobra, the black costumed Death Star troopers for Cobra. For Joe, the rebel troopers would not have to be modded much to be Joe Pit commandos, and the Endor Solo & Leia already have military costuming...

I can't believe that for the Joes no one has named the most obvious choice:

CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!

I mean, seriously, he was a soldier and fought in WW2. Cap's the man!

I'm disappointed in you all.

Another obvious choice would be Nick Fury and SHIELD working with the Joes and Baron Strucker or Red Skull and Hydra working with Cobra. Then Cobra could get Crossbones too.


I would say Black Widow would be in there somewhere too, possibly as a double agent working for Cobra and the Joes.

Iron Fist could serve on Ninja Force too I guess.
