There's been a few in Toy magazines and the comics that come in the Comic packs have them.
As for actual commercials, you can blame the lack of cartoons. See most of the time a TV Station will schedule commercials to run during programs that are targeted at whoever the commercial would be targeted at. So toy commercials are typically only shown during kids programming. With fewer and fewer stations running kids programming, you get less commercials for toys.
I noticed that there were some Valor Vs Venom commercials a few years back but I only saw them once. I think it was because I really wasn't watching many cartoons back then (The new TMNT and that was about it)

thats what i am really hopeing for this ''hunting'' all speak of is insane no fun at all with gas and ect really wanting it will go back to the old days where no one is disappointed and everyone is able to find what they want maybe not that day but the next and all scalpers will have to find real work and the world will rejoice in joe-gasm!!! it will be blue skies on that day whenever that day may be

it sells it self in limited numbers to People like ''us'' and some number of kiddies if it had advertisement and so forth it would sell more = they would make more or atleast send more in stock.so it wouldn't be such a hassle to get them. not everyone has 15 bucks to spend on 1 bat

I agree with Cobra-La. Granted, the product truly does sell itself, but it would sell on a much grander scale if there were solid promotional tools behind it. It would be hard for both the Big H & Retailers alike to disregard that kind of demand.

That said though, with the new floor plans for just about every big retailer out there (that we've seen/heard) so far, it looks to be a very promising end of year for us all.
