Although i maybe young in age, that doesnt stop me from understanding the attraction to Shipwreck. He's the wisecracking typical salior and when he needs to be can be a badass.

He's my Hawkeye to the Avengers.
You know hothead, brash, loudmouth, average joe, good in a fight, chasing all the women, but dedicated to the team. He's great at what does and made himself a spot on the team. |

He's the annoying sailor who doesn't get used much because I don't have any naval vessels at the moment.

I've been out of the loop for the most part since the mid 90's. Had a brief fling with Reloaded (first 10 issues were under rated) and the first 6 or so for America's Elite up till the 25th, which started as a whim for me but quickly became an obsession...Shipwreck? A cross between the abrasive jerk and comedic relief. I prefer my sticky jerktards to be Beachhead in my verse'. I do like the skully version the best, but without the long scraggly hair.

This is the first of (hopefully) many such open questions.
Between the action figure file cards, the comics, and the cartoons, a character may have many different and conflicting personalities, histories, or back-stories. This is your chance to tell us about which story you choose to go with, or the one you've created for this character. FIRST UP: Shipwreck. Is he just a salty sailor modeled after Jack Nicholson in The Last Detail? Or, is he the Navy S.E.A.L.? Or, is he something else. You tell us. |
