SHIPWRECK: Who is he to you?

In the cartoon he was hanging out in a Cobra bar and helped Flint and (was it Mutt?) escape in some sort of sand sail ship. Then when they arrived at Joe Headquarters he up and joined the team simply because he thought Lady Jaye was hot.

I have to assume he was previously in the navy. He was on vacation in the desert =)

I believe my cousin was a helmsman for an aircraft carrier. I doubt there were any serious ramifications of the job if they let my cousin do it.

I was never a really big fan. I was on the fence about him in the first place, then he showed up in about 85% of the episodes with that annoying voice.

I would have liked him a lot more if they cut his appearances in half and took away 99.9% of Polly's lines.

I don't seem to remember him having much of a role in the comics, and when he showed up he was sort of an abrasive sailor.

Much better.

He was a fav of mine as a kid. I loved his fig and enjoyed him in the toon. I think of him as a navy seal in my joeverse.
