I would go to the Childrens Palace and free my fellow Tele-Vipers from their plastic prision. Then we would Hijack the Trouble Bubbles to aid in making our escape from the store!

Question: You said "hopefully a sealed snake eyes/storm shadow is still in there"... Got me wondering is there a site or post on here somewhere that lists what was a pegwarmer from a particular year? I enjoy reading whats warming, selling, army building and would love to read the same type of information about classic Joes 82-91ish or so. Any thoughts?

Either I would go to Ben Franklin in 1984 and pick up the Flint, Rock n Roll, and Whirlwind that I always wanted, or go 1992 and buy all of my friends GI Joes before graduation.

[QUOTE=82joe;212000] Marx Iwo Jima and Navarone playsets, QUOTE]
Those Playsets were awesome We had three in my backyard as hidden fortresses. I would probably do the same only in 83 or 84 more to choose from and there were those exclusives. I couldn't wait to go through the Wishbook I think I would circle everything Joe in that catalog and the Penny's one too.

I would hit TG&Y in 1984 and get everything from the 83,84,and hopefully the 85 line then come back home and open up every last one and put the vehicles together and put the great stickers on. That was the best part.

I would go back to 1985. There would be 3 years of figures available 83-85, plus all the 82 guys were out with swivel arm grip. I would grab a WHALE, Rattler, a GI Joe Headquarters, Water Moccasin...
I think I would just grab it all. Seriously. I'd also look for a blue S.N.A.K.E. Never even saw one of those in the store... |

I've always wanted a Skystriker so I'd say that 1985 would be the year that I'd pick since I could get all of the figures and vehicles from 1983-85. There's a lot of good stuff in that time span...

Honestly though everything I think I would want I had. I guess maybe some additional figures

I can't let you guys build a time machine.
If you all go back in time buying up all the mid 80's GI Joe goodness than random parts of my collection are likely to disapear back here in the present. I may or may not notice because of all the wacky fun that could result in messing with time but just to be sure I must act. If I find it I will destroy your time machine, or keep it for myself. |
