Come on, who is man/nerd enough to admit that they play with there GI Joe toys? And when I say play, I mean play, like when you were a little kid.

I still played with my original ARAH Joes up until sometime during my high school years. I would probably still play with them now if I wasn't so worried about ruining their paint apps and all. I guess way back then I wasn't so anal about it.
To tell you the truth these new 25th Anniversary figures don't look as if they would hold up as well as the original ones did. With all of the wear and tear we used to put on them as kids I think these would fall apart in a week.

What?
Who plays with these? These toys were designed for the sole purpose of being displayed on their cards and to be occasionally wiped for dust. Pfft, imagine someone playing with these collector's items. HARUMPH! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (My favorite part of that scene is the random Star Wars medic bot thing, Doc, and Ratchet trying to help Timber on the far left corner.)

My 3-1/2 year old son and I play with the 25th Joe’s and they have held up good so far. I do tell him that he has to be gentle with them though. I agree that they are definitely not as durable as the old ones.
For one thing, when playing the guns & knifes fall out soooo easy. I have to try real hard to keep track of everything and to scan the ground really good when we're done playing. Another thing is that it's harder and takes longer to load the 25th Joe's into and out of vehicles. |

If there was a "Play and Pose" option I'd click that as I keep them posed most of the time as well as play with them, but I clicked "Play like when I was a kid". When I get the chance I play with them, mostly after house work is done and I haven't got much to do, or while watching a show or movie. I also play with them when my cousin is over or I'm at his house.

Sorry, I guess I thought people would assume that people who...
Play like a kid = also pose Play with your son/daughter = also pose Pose = also.....well........pose I think just about everyone except people who leave them in the cards pose their Joes. Maybe I'm wrong to think that. |

I pose my collection.
My son and I play with his collection (he always makes me play the Joe side while he plays the Cobra side. Guess which one wins everytime?). Gotta agree these things are not as durable as the old ones. My son's wave 7 SE has already lost a hand! |
