Hey- as a relative newb here, I've seen some terms that took me a while to figure out, (usually ending up slapping my head in how I didn't get it before.) As a service to other newbs who don't need to have their heads slapped as much as mine is, here are some terms seen a lot on HissTank and their meanings. Feel free to add your own and have fun with this.
BBTS: BigBadToyStore.com. They sell stuff. CW: Clone Wars. A star wars cartoon on Cartoon Network that may have some toys connected to it. Maybe. Its a rumor. HTS: Hasbro Toy Shop. The online store for Hasbro. Kind of a touchy subject. See SDCC. IM/IM2: Iron Man/Iron Man 2. A movie series that may also have an associated toy line. MU: Marvel Universe. An actual toy line that may be related to a comic book publisher called Marvel. SDCC: San Diego Comic Con. The site of exclusives and the source of much joy and sorrow. SE: Snake Eyes. He's a ninja. These are off the top of my head. More as I remember them/see them in the forums. Dave

SA = Straight Arm
That was the first wave of Joes. The arms weren't very poseable. The corporate type said, "Why don't we make it so's the figures have all their thumbs pop off when the kids try to pose them?" ARAH = That is, of course, "A Real American Hero". For us kids of the '80's, that's really the only kind of Joes that matter.
