like a lot of ye I've bought my fair share of figures over the years but one things I'd love to know is how to repair a broken swivel wrist on a figure ? is this possible ? I've got a few figures over the years who's hands have been so tight trying to move that i've ended up snapping the hand off trying to free it up. whats the best way to repair if a swap out is not an option? also on a side note whats the best way to free up a figure with tight joints ?

I've had the same problem mate. What I did was drill a small hole into the hand and glue a small piece of styrene rod into the hand, make sure that the rod fits into the wrist. Trim to fit and your good to go. Hope that helps.

you mean flatten one out and then push it into the area were the break was ? so there like a metal rod between the wrist and hand?

I use small paperclips.. using a pin vise, drill a small hole in the center or the part stuck in the wrist, do the same in the hand, put superglue on the end of the paperclip, insert it into the hole in the wrist, clip the end to the desired length to put into the hand (Also adding superglue to that end)
To ensure it doesn't get stuck.. after you glue the paperclip into the wrist, you may want to turn it a bit to keep any excess glue from locking it into place. Then after you superglue the hand on, do the same. I've used this method to fix both joes and MU figures.
