What if they had made a G.I. Joe movie back in the 80’s when all our current older actors were in their pirme, and what if some of the newer actors were the same age back then, what cast would you have as your favorite characters, kind of like an all-star cast.
G.I. Joe Gen. Colton – Clint Eastwood Gen Hawk- Arnold Schwarzenegger Duke- Robert Redford Flint- Sylvester Stallone Snake Eyes- Ray Park (did an excellent job in RoC) Scarlett- Geena Davis (awesome in The Long Kiss Goodnight) Lady Jaye- Kate Beckinsale (perfect look) Cover Girl- Angelina Jolie Dusty- Chris Evans Stalker- Wesley Snipes Shipwreck- Kurt Russell (perfect for comic relief) Rock ‘N’ Roll- Kiefer Sutherland Gung-Ho- Jesse Ventura Ripcord- Ryan Reynolds (perfect for comic relief) Roadblock- Michael Clarke Duncan (Fits the look and voice) Spirit Iron-Knife- Sonny Landham (loved the POC figure that looked like him) Heavy-Duty- Tyrese Gibson Outback- Chuck Norris (looks just like him and would be badass) Beachhead- Jason Statham Chuckles-Thomas Jane Sgt. Slaughter- Dwayne Johnson (need someone funny who can kick ass) Doc- Denzel Washington Lowlight- Matthew Marsden (great in Rambo) Tunnel Rat- Lou Diamond Phillips Cobra Cobra Commander- Willem Dafoe (perfect voice) Destro- Vin Diesel (Looks just like Destro and had the build) Baroness- Sienna Miller (Greates part of RoC) Firefly- Jet Li Dr. Mindbender- John Malkovich Zartan- Steven Seagal (early years) Zarana- Milla Jovovich Zandar- Billy Zane Zanya- Michelle Rodriguez Mercenary Wraith- Dolph Lundgren Storm Shadow- Sho Kosugi Road Pig- Brock Lesnar Buzzer- Woody Harrelson Torch- Viggo Mortensen Ripper-Hugo Weaving Monkeywrench- Mickey Rourke Thrasher- Nicholas Cage

Have you seen the Masters of the Universe movie from the 80s? I think the Joe movie would have been something like that and I'm sure Dolph Lundgeren would have been a part of it.
And John Malkovich would be an amazing Mindbender. |

the movie would suck in the 80's as there wasn't adequate CGI. It would look like He-man or some other crap. Interesting character choices.

Okay, if they had the CGI back then like they do today this would be an epic movie, just wonder who I would pick to produce it, maybe the guy who produced the Rambo movies would be awesome

A G.I. Joe movie in the 80's would most likely have looked like this:
Duke - Emilio Estevez Rip Cord - Charlie Sheen Snake Eyes - Ralph Macchio Scarlett - Mare Winningham General Hawk - Andrew McCarthy Flint - Rob Lowe Lady Jaye - Ally Sheedy Cobra Commander - Martin Kove Storm Shadow - William Zabka Destro - Judd Nelson Baroness - Demi Moore Firefly - Lou Diamond Phillips

Don't get me wrong, I watch the MOTU movie quite a bit, along with the Dolph-tastic Punisher movie from 89. There were cards packed in with the comics in the early 90s that had live action shots and even as a kid I thought how lame it looked.
