Hello friends!
The question arose a few days in a community where I have sat here in Brazil. Anyone know any more precise information about the origin of dreadnock Ripper? Because the site joeped, there is a report that he is a rich and successful entrepreneur! If anyone can help with more information, the same would be cool to share with colleagues. Big hug. |

This is the filecard character, and I 'm here too, but we know that the filecards show only a brief summary of the biography of each character, and no basis for collectors who really want to delve into joeverse. The issue is because of this link I saw: Dreadnoks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In the part where they speak Ripper, comes the news: "Ripper: The founding member of the Dreadnoks, he is known for carrying an assault rifle with a large blade serving as a bayonet, Ripper is angry, violent and antisocial. He secretly is independently wealthy and a shrewd businessman. " |

Ripper earned his name in the 5th grade when he stunk the teacher out of the class room and made all the kids puke.

I remember something in Devil's Due that the Twins had marketed Ripper's "Hard Grape Soda" or some such.
In my own Joe-Verse, the Dreadnoks are not actually a real gang. They are a group of prep school dropouts from super-wealthy American families who invented their biker gang personas to horrify their parents. They have names like Andrew, Blake and Chad. They compete with one another to see which one is the most "authentic" thug by trying to out-horrible each other. They're all actually quite Ralph Lauren model-handsome, but they don't shave and dress biker-y to nullify that so they will be taken seriously as hardcore societal outcasts. Zartan encountered them on a mission and was so amused by them he hired them as his henchmen.

It is very interesting and original, and I'll use something to make my version of dreadnocks. |
