How do the japanese produce mammoth toy and hobby mags every month, yet ToyFare goes under and Lee and Tomarts gets thinner and thinner with nothing to offer. Price guides are useless.

It's because due to the low birth rate toy companies in Japan cater more towards adult and toy collecting is relatively bigger there than it is here.

Toyfare is gone? Aw man....I didn't know that....I haven't gotten it in a while but had no idea it was discontinued. I still have my copy with Resident Evil toys on the cover =)

I had a letter printed in toyfare asking why they weren't calling out Hasbro on their crappy ML figures after they took the line over. They took it to Hasbro rep that said they were aware of the paint problem and would be taking steps to correct it. That was before the wave with Spiral in it... that was one thing I did enjoy about toyfare is they had good contacts

I wish America had a low birth rate. Damn women here are breeding out of control. A few weeks ago a nurse at the hospital was telling me about some 18 year old whorebag that was already on her 5th baby. Sick bastards!

I haven't picked up a copy in years, but I always liked Lee's Review.
They're smart in that they keep an updated website with a lot of the same news to keep the brand relevant, but make physical copies of the magazine still desirable with things like their pull-out guides. As I said, I haven't picked up a copy in a while, so it may have changed, but I always thought they were well written with the serious collector in mind, rather than going for the type of fanboy humor that Wizard/Toyfare used.

Its so funny this topic is showing up. Just 2 days ago, I was calling several B&N to see if they still carry. I typically purchase 2 a year to keep my inventory updated on PG prices. Does anyone know where to get? Thx

Toyfare was only good for TTT, but Robot Chicken put an end to that.
