It's been pretty dry here (Downriver - Detroit, MI area) too. I've seen a few single carded figures, but more than half the time the cards are trashed. I've only see the 5 packs a couple of times too.
tile_mcgillus did you make the sig? Would be cool to get a bigger version to make a wallpaper with. |

Here is a quick wallpaper...I used the cool hisstank gijoe logo. Just really combined the two. No creativity on my part, thus no credit. Enjoy.

It seems to me like Hasbro was just seeing how much demand there would be with the 1st wave and, like Transformers, didn't anticipate there would be this much interest. c'mon Hasbro...what did you think...there are millions of us 30-somethings out there that absolutely freaked when we heard about these new figs...now you're ripping out our freakin' hearts with all this teasing! WTF!!!! even with the TF line, i have to drive around like 10 miles to get just one toy. and the same thing with Wave 1 of the 25th Joes. i have to drive around just to get a single card Flint and Snake Eyes, but not being able to get the rest of the wave 1 singles. i don't mind driving around, as long as the toys are well stocked at places that i visit, rather than hitting an empty wall. wasted like $10 on gas, it could have been used to get a single card.

Maybe the dry spell is about to end. My Walmart got a ton of wave 4 & 5 Star Wars figures yesterday along with alot of the newer Transformers. They don't carry the 25th Joes, but I scored 3 more Cobra Officers at a nearby Walmart on Monday to bring my total to 10.

Since I first learned of the remakes, I have seen one Joe and one Cobra Five pack at my TRU(small town sandusky, OH), one carded CC and every other time a single empty peg hook with the 25th anniversary tag and SKU number. My walmart had nothing only one empty peg, and the local Meijers doesnt even carry them. Very hard to find in my neck of the woods. I think I too am gonna have to pre-order everything released to make sure I get them.
Does anyone know if comic 2 packs be available for preorder also? |

my TRU here has five GI Joe packs and a bunch of single card SAW Vipers, thats the only Joe stuff I've seen in town. Star Wars on the other hand, I can get almost anything other than the Mcfigures.

I could care less about this movie centric TF stuff...no thanks, but it seems like every store is freaking packed to the brim with the stuff. Same with Star Wars. Now 25th GIJOEs are freaking impoosible to find. I haven't seen a single carded in over a month. Anybody know when Wave 2 is dropping? I've heard mid-September...which should be now?
