The convention figures suck.... Thanks GI JOE CLUB for puting the wrong size rubber band in these figures... All of my swat figures need new rubber bands... They were all broken... Even bullhorn the driver was broken... WOW HOW LAZY OF GI JOE CLUB..... I Guess they cant spend the extra couple of pennys for the right size rubber bands... I guess they have NO Quality Control... I am glad that I stock up on extra rubber bands... Oh and when taking these apart to replace them all of my figures have stress marks on the inside due to the pulling of a small rubber band...

At least the metal part did not snap. That would been worse.

That's kinda weak. Has anyone actually addressed the folks at the convention about this issue?

my low light also had a broken band. the rest of my figures were fine, and i would have just swapped them out for new bands if they all had broken anyway. i do think it's poor quality control though....but at least the figures seemed to have fewer problems this year, aside from the rubber band issue i mean. all of my figures had the proper accessories and appendages, and none were broken....
anyone else have a different experience? |

Bet you it's more a problem with the factory in china using crappy O-Rings. If you're still at the con, you should ask someone at the club booth or on the Club board about it

there using the rubber bands from the female troopers from last year. I recomend that everyone swaps them out with the OG rubberbands. You can get 100 rubberbands for about 2 dollars on ebay.

I don't think it is fair to blame the female troopers, I got two sets of the IGs, and a few of them had snapped o-rings as well.
It is more of a factory issue, as I am pretty sure MC doesn't put them together or pack them personally. Two of my Black Dragon Troopers also had a similar problem. |
