I go to several Flea markets and such and came across a very interesting figure that I have no idea where he came from and could use some help. he is not for sale, I just would like to know his origin. He is articulate like a early joe with pretty tight joints for a figure dated 1978 Robert C.Dill made in hong kong on his butt. No peg holes and his cuff on his shirt taper which I thought was cool. He apears to be a ninja master of a man in his 50's or 60's.(Stormshadows dad! HAHA jk) anyway any help would be greatly appreciated. yo joe!

It's a Buck Rogers figure. He originally came with a cloth cape.

Jism83's comment reminded me of a Western/American Heroes line that came out. Anyone remember that? I vaguely remember having a few of them. They were 3 3/4 scale or so. Probably released b/w Star Wars and GI Joe.

Draco is his name. His cape was yellow. I have all of these figs from when i was a child, out of the package, and I've seen him going carded for 25 dollars at conventions mint.

The affiliation with the name Robert C. Dill was the man responsible for, and at the time the guy NBC had to go to to clear the Buck Rogers TV show through his estate to get the rights to jump on the sci-fi bandwagon to compete with Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars and Star Trek which also has 3 3/4 figs at the time affiliated with the first Trek film.

I always wished i could get the figure that they used the 1977 Luke Skywalkers head on. Also if i remember right the bar you could get was a re-used playset from the vintage Star Wars line too.
