Bought a complete set on ebay a couple of months back. Not the best art but I'm glad I bought them.
A few weeks ago I found all my old cards after thinking they had disappeared: Marvel, AD&D, Stargate, Art Cards(such as Boris Vallejo) and even some playboy ones. It was a fun fad while it lasted. Full disclaimer: Some Casper the movie cards were also found. Had a bit of Christina Ricci crush back in the day.

I'm a big fan of Joe trading cards...I have the Impel set, and some of the gold boarder versions from figures, also have another set from around that time don't recall who made them but they were pretty good.
I also have a complete set (both original and the expansion sets) but never played just collected the Joe card game they did around the time of I think Spy Troops. I even found a few sites that made their own expansions after the game was cancelled, and downloaded their files and printed them out card back and all when I worked ay Staples...looked great. I also have a bunch of WWE cards I nabbed from KMART when my store was closing and they reduced them. I also have a bunch of the first Star Wars card game and the Star Trek card game. |

Yes, I have a bunch of these cards.
I have a few unopened boxes too from when I used to work at Kay Bee Toys. They used to sell the boxes for like $4.99 and I got a 25% discount. So, yeah, I've got a lot of those Impel cards. They're fun!!! Better than that collectible card game mess I wasted money on. |

I have the Impel set, I've got an incomplete set missing maybe 5 cards I would trade for a Low Light or a Crazy Legs!
I had another set from 88 that I bought in 95 for $2 from a company called Comic Images that had artwork from the comic, I think its my favorite. I've also got a shitload of cards that came with comic books and Wizards in the early 90s. |

i have an almost complete set of cards that have the filecard art on the front with the filecard info on the back. i will have to post a pic but maybe some here knows what i am talking about and maybe some here might be able to help me complete the set. i will also post the # of the cards i am missing since the checklist doesn't have names listed on it

The Milton Bradley set of 192 is the most nostalgic.
The Comic Images set of 55 is faithful to the Marvel comic era up to '87. The impel set of 200 is decent and easily found. The impel gold border set of 20 is the most difficult set to complete. The live action set of 20 plus 4, or so, has nice glossy photo front of "real life GI Joe scenes" . |
