Thought I'd share an interesting experience with Hasbro customer serivice. I got a Captain America Superhero Squad figure for my kids a month ago that ended up being broken. I contacted Hasbro and they said to send it to them for a replacement. They did say that if there wasn't the same thing available they would replace it with something similar.
So today I have a package from Hasbro on my doorstep. I was hoping for something I'd ordered from HTS, but when I looked inside, it was a Spytroops Roadblock with DVD figure from 2003. There was no note (or any kind of packing) in the box. I contacted HTS to see if it came from them, but they knew nothing about it. While talking to them, I remembered sending in the Cap figure so I called Hasbro next and, sure enough, this was my replacement since they didn't have anymore Marvel figures. I had to tell them that I was really disappointed with the way they handled it. The operator told me that they just sent me something of equal value. I pointed out that it was a five year old figure from a totally different brand and that just seemed like bad service. He put me on hold and after a while said they would send out another label to ship this back and that his superviser said they would be getting more Marvel figures in soon and would replace it with that. I'm not holding my breath right now. So if you're interested in getting any Spytroops, just send something to be replaced and you've got a good chance of getting some. |

Wow By the time you get it your kid will be old enough to play with the Spytroops RB. This is charley he is waiting patiently along with you.

Two things bother me most about the whole thing. First, I sent it in because I couldn't find one at the store to just return it. Of course, right after I sent it out the shelves were full.
Second, they're doing all of this stuff over something that's about $3 at retail. I suppose I should apologize to everyone for causing them to waste their money to fix my problem. I'll probably be the reason for the next price hike. |

That is the most random thing I have ever heard them send. Thats crazy man, I hope they do make it up to you with a new Marvel SHS figure.
