As Captain Mal said, we need to be more positive.
What's something you like/appreciate about the Classified line? No complaining, no wishing, no deriding others, or "yeah, but" arguments. See how long we can keep this topic on a positive trend. I like that we're getting a mix of popular, nameless/faceless (troop builders), obscure characters in the line at the same time. It reminds me of the original run when any figure had the ability to become the star of the wave. I also like that we get to see more of the behind the scenes with the Hasbro team (a benefit of the internet). What about you? |

I appreciate the fact the Classified Series even exists, the JOE team's extraordinarily high level of fan engagement and how Emily, (who was new to this,) engraitated herself to the fandom and obviously took her own personal time to learn about the history of G.I. JOE.

Classified has quickly become my absolute favorite toy line to collect now and has pushed Star Wars VC as my #1 line to the wayside for me (I only collect OT stuff so not too much to collect anymore).
I pretty much get every figure in the line and am always super excited to open up every figure and get all their gear out and play with, photograph, customize and display them. Takes me back to being a kid when GI Joe was so important to me. I love all the details that each figure has and appreciate all the gear each one comes with. The live streams and panels are always super exciting to me and I love when we get reveals and get to see what the new figures look like. I love how any ARAH figure is on the table to be a future Classified figure. I'm also glad to see figures like Kamakura, the Shadow Tracker and Agent Helix coming to the line, as they only add more depth to the line (even though personally ARAH is my bread & butter). Emily & Lenny & Co. and the entire Joe team at Hasbro should be proud of Classified. I know they put a lot of love, passion, blood, sweat and tears into every figure and I think it really shows. It's a fantastic line and sure has come a long way just in the 3 years it has existed now. I'm really looking forward to what lies in store for Classified and think 2024 and 2025 are going to be truly special since the line is really starting to get into gear and is firing on all cylinders now. Yooo JOE!!!

Very positive additions to the Classified line worth mentioning are the recent return of Sgt. Slaughter to the G.I. Joe brand (both as a Classified action figure and as licensed products by Renegade Studios), and the announced men and women of the Steel Corps with J.U.M.P. pack accessories, all of which are superior to third-party action figure offerings inspired by those same characters.

I am happy that it exists as well. I didn't get nor plan to get every figure but I am glad there is something for everyone. See, I was in a non-collecting phase when those great looking 25th or whatever series was out and trying to get into it so late into the game was near impossible.
The property does well in the six inch line with ample room for nice details and they look great on shelves. |

Likewise. The six-inch frame does allow for a better build I think. |

I'd just like to say my complaints have little to do with the toys or the Joe designers...it's the price increases with decreasing qc, distribution issues that get ignored, long waits on figures to ship, empty shelves, & excessive repaints or reissues
Here's the good though of which there is lots: Classified having support to even exist Sgt. Slaughter Kamakura's inclusion opening the way for post-2000s Joes New tech i.e. faceprints instead of paintjobs, renders to preview new figures Vehicles, though I don't want Haslabs because I want good deals like the Stinger for 1:18 with small vehicles for 1:12 Obscure characters (Croc-Master, PD Destro) in the first few waves opening the way for everyone to get produced Pets Realistic guns when some toy companies have given into gun control The use of soft-goods though it still needs work 2nd runs of htf con figures Deluxe figures going from unnecessary price increases to giving us deluxe content Retro-collection, despite the cards issue Livestreams where they're enthusiastic Troop-builder sets Plastic-free packages trying to do something fun like the lockers even though it didn't turn out very exciting Trying to go modern but hold onto Joe RAH designs |

I'll preface this with the disclaimer that I haven't gone all in on classified, I cherry pick figures here and there that I want. It isn't a fault of the line, just where my collecting desires are at the moment.
I do feel the line is a labor of love for the designers though. They seem to be actual fans of joe and have an understanding of the line. It is impossible to please every fan but I feel the team on this line is really trying. I also appreciate their attention to representing characters from different years of joe instead of just giving us all the normal releases up front. Stand outs for me are Tiger Force Outback, Spirit, Snake Eyes w/ Timber and a handful of the Cobras. On edit, I also want to give them a shout out for Serpentor. I thought all the ME versions were mediocre at best, but the classified release is a banger.

Classified definitely got me into 6" figures... I had been collecting Wal-Mart's retro line, beforehand, but when that line was cancelled, I went all-in on Classified and have no regrets. I just love how the figures look on the self, and not just Classified, but Legends, Black Series, DC Multiverse, Masterverse, Super 7, and Neca stuff, as well! It's a great time to be an action figure collector.
