I see Hawk overall in charge with Colton as a consultant. I remember as a kid, picking my team and team leader like the OLD Mask cartoon. Everyone picked based on the mission and each members special training.
I am curious, but didn't an original General Flagg come out a few years back in a comic pack with Steeler and a cobra soldier? |

I actually can't stand politics in my Joe, so for me it's Hawk as team leader, but Duke as Field Commander. Hawks the guy that decides what missions they go on, Duke is the guy who decides how it gets done.

Nice work, Loose.
You should label all those figures. I'd like to see who is who.

Hawk is overall leader but Duke leads a sub group consisting of any Joe who was in the first few Sunbow mini series.
Flint leads a sub group of any Joe introduced in the same season as he was introduced. And Beachhead leads a sub group of Joes from the season he was introduced and including the rawhides intoduced in the animated movie. I also add to this group any figure not shown in the cartoon at all like Benchpress and Helix. And anyone seen in the DIC series like Heavy Duty. As this is a larger group I have Hawk attached to this squad when in battle. The Sarge leads all vehicle based Joes into battle.
