Nice, What do you work in?
I've started a maggot a couple of times, but haven't really gotten to far with it, maggot test by LodeCreative, on Flickr MAGGOT by LodeCreative, on Flickr I'm working primarily in blender, but zbrush comes out for some stuff, and I will be importing into Fusion360 (that's what you're using isn't it?) to get all the interior fittings put together. Here's a shot of the maggot so far |

Aha, yea I've been doing the same with my Hammerhead and Mamba designs. I keep getting to a point I kinda like, then scrapping because it doesn't fit the shape language I wanted.

Here's a shot of the maggot so far I work primarily in Sketchup rendering with Vray. I've dabbled in Fusion, but haven't convinced myself I need to shell out the subscription quite yet. I may try to convince my company to cover Fusion at somepoint, but currently they've supplied me with Solidworks, so eventually I may start some solid modeling in that, which would be easier to 3d print. |

Wow, that's a nice take on the Maggot, much more modern.

Solidworks definitely would make printing stuff easy (fusion does too, and blender to a degree) Bonus with being able to get actual functioning life-sized parts out of it (if we were all absurdly wealthy) Last edited by Stimshock; 05-19-2017 at 08:07 PM.. |

Oh! I do like sketchup, but I was in the same position as you with Fusion - I don't know if it works well enough with my process to justify the subscription yet.

It's great though for what I do professionally. Couldn't work nearly as fast any anything other than sketchup. Preserve at Wilderness Lake - Poster low res by LodeCreative, on Flickr |
