Most of the latest stuff has just been re-renders of older stuff. Some I'm going back and reworking models to clean them up. currently I'm working on this. Moccasin WIP by LodeCreative, on Flickr The original was sloppy, and I never really worked in the main guns, they were just stuck there. Cobra Water Moccasin by LodeCreative, on Flickr I've developed new standard materials and studio render environment, so mostly i'm just going thru and making a consistent multi-image presentation for each. Then cleaning up my Flickr account from redundant and sloppy work. Other's I'm trying to get them printable. very few of mine would go directly into a 3d printer (which I've now got a 8"x8" i'm playing with) but rebuilding models gives me a chance to correct that. vamp rebuild by LodeCreative, on Flickr the orange portion of this is now all one hollow piece so it should print ok. needs a bit more detail and connecting points finshed, but once done I'll be able to stretch the length in the middle and bed to create a few different versions easily. And looking at it, it makes me want to look into getting a rotomold made to knock these out in full scale (low density poly ethylene) to sell to build on an existing chassis. I'm also thinking about getting that missile launcher pack-rat ready to print at 1/6th scale. It would be a good starting piece to launch a toy production line. I see it more as a collectible shelf piece though than anything. Soon I'll get back into new models, both of originals and new concepts. But right now, i've got too much other work tying me up. |

Very nice.
I would love to see you tackle the GI Joe H.A.V.O.C. A terrible vehicle with potential. Give the gunner some shielding, armor instead of the glass canopy, sitting up position instead of laying down to drive, and get rid of the stupid flying vehicle in the back. Maybe replace it with an ATV or some missiles or something. Anyways, just a thought. :O) |

I started a Havoc a long time ago, and abandoned it. HAVOC test 1 by LodeCreative, on Flickr
just wasn't happy with where it was going. It was one of those classics I was just never into. maybe I'll get back to it. I may finish my Avalanche first, then let the hovercraft be interchangeable (more likely a small quade copter or something like this ) Last edited by Nogamusprime; 02-16-2015 at 08:44 PM.. |

Oh yeah, I actually think I remember this now. I forgot you had done this. Very nice. Much better then the original. Although I suppose that's not saying much. LOL
Really though. It's pretty cool. |

Have you done any playsets like the Cobra Bunker, Alpha Checkpoint, LAW, Cobra Surveillance Point, Outpost Defender? Or maybe something more massive like the Mobile Commander Center, GI Joe Headquarters, or the Defiant? Plus, do you design people? I would love to see some Joes and Cobras in the scene with the vehicles and playsets.

This is all I've done so far for playsets. I'd like to do more, just haven't had the chance. I've never modeled any people, but if someone that does the figures wants to team up, i can drop them into my models, or share mine with them. |
