Hi y'all,
Remember, back in 2007, when Paramount announced that the Joes would be based in Brussels in 'Rise of Cobra'? Everyone thought the idea sucked, except me. I was born there, y'see and quite disappointed to see they had dropped the idea in the final film. Anyway, I used the abandonned idea in these two posters. Hope you like them! PS: Congratulations to those who know what the big, reflective metal thing featured on both posters is... ;) |

It's the Atomium Monument. The top sphere has a buffet restaurant and you can look out and see practically the whole city.

Congratulations, Magick!
It's the Atomium indeed. It was built for the Brussels World Fair of 1958 and is still one of Brussels' most famous monuments today. It stands 335 ft. tall and depicts the structure of an iron crystal, magnified about 165 billion times. Of course, it isn't by far as famous as its French cousin the Eiffel Tower, already featured quite spectacularly in quite a few Hollywood productions, including 'Rise of Cobra'. (G.I. Joe 2 could change that... ) ;) Congrats again, Magick! |

Why thanks you. I think its a beautiful monument. Everyone has heard of the Eiffel Tower.. but this thing.. pure genius and obscure. Only the few who are a vault of useless knowledge as myself would know of such wonders.
Well.. unless your from there of course. LOL

I apologize. I can't help but read your posts in the voice of Jean Claude Van Damme. Sorry.
