We have added some functionality to the Fan Art area. First, there are now thumbnails when you browse the thread list. This should allow you to jump right in to the things you want to see quicker.

In order for this to work, we require that you attach at least 1 image to the thread, using our in house attachment system. Just 1. After that, you can use Photobucket or anywhere else to display your work as normal.

The other addition are prefixes. These allow you to tell everyone what type of art your post is about. The options are

- Inks/Colors/3D (aka traditional art)
- Photography
- Non G.I. Joe

Please use Inks/Colors/3D for anything like comic book art, profiles, etc. Traditional "Fan Art".

Photography is new, this is only to be used for artistic type of shots, done with a camera, not just random pics of your toys. If you take a shot with your camera, then photoshop it up into wallpapers, etc, this is where that would go.

Non GI Joe - this is for anything, any type of art, that is not related to G.I. Joe. Use this instead of the other 2.

By using these prefixes, you should be able to then sort using the new controls at the top of the forum list to show only the kind of art you are looking for.

I know some of this may be a bit off putting, but the goal is to make browsing these forums by the casual fan easier, and in turn, getting your stuff seen more!
