If your viewing is strictly limited to GI Joe it might not have as much appeal. He doesn't talk directly about GI Joe much, Stars Wars is his favorite, but the production information is very interesting and probably applies across any toy line. Most of the episodes hover around 15 minutes, so it's not a huge investment either. I'm not sure if he would have an opinion or more named Cobra figures or not. A more Joe-focused channel is Articulated Points. The two hosts on there go down the rabbit hole on Joe topics. They recently did a fantastic multi-part breakdown of the making of Eco-Warriors, complete with interviews and internal Hasbro documents of the era. Great stuff. Borders on feeling more like a documentary more than a "talk about toys" show. Going back to the "named Cobras" concept- I agree. Hasbro could even release a pack of alternate heads to top on existing troop builders to make characters like Gregor (Marvel #1), Bald Cobra Officer w Goatee (Marvel #1), Scarface, and, Captain Bristow (Nightstalkers leader), or Tombstone (50th anniversary?). For those characters that might not make the cut on their own. Mattel apparently did something like this for its Masters line at one point. It allowed to collectors to toggle between displaying likenesses that looked more like the original figures or more like the Filmation versions.

I am a completionist on about 15 different toy lines, including Star Wars. I might be one of the biggest action figure collectors in the world.
I am definitely not limited to Joes, and it sounds like this would be very interesting to me. Thank you. I love your head pack idea and was arguing for the same last week or so. If it gets me Scarface and Tombstone especially, I am over the moon on the idea.

I respect Marauder for creating its own thing, although the products are clearly intended to blend into Joe custom figures.
