That is a good question.

I would bet, a very uneducated guess mind you, that they probably have assigned vehicles of some varieties (dune buggy styled vehicles), but not big ones (like tanks).

Good eye! I sometimes forget how many variations of characters the line has had. Makes sense that more than one member of the team would have similar gear, though. I tried to do the same when I did some arctic versions with MTF parts.

Grunt got Lola. His card art remains my preferred choice for "the face" of G.I. Joe but I also remember a schoolmate saying that "G.I." meant "general infantry" and that fit Grunt even more.

SAS have "Pinkies" and WMIKs which are modified Land Rovers. They rely on Joint Special Forces Aviation Wing for their helicopter needs. They have no heavy armour.

Pinkies are long wheel-base Land Rovers which are open-topped and fitted with guns. They're so named as a contraction of 'Pink Panther' which was a nickname of similar vehicles in WW2 which were painted a pinkish colour because it acted as better camouflage in the desert than tan or brown.

WMIK (pronounced Wim-ick) is a more modernised update to the Pinkie IIRC, with the name being an acronym for Weapons-Mounted Improvement Kit or something similar.

They're a three-seater Land Rover with an M2 mounted on the top roll-cage with a gunner seat and a GPMG mounted on the dash for the 'shotgun' position with the GPMG on a swivel to give a greater arc of fire.
