Every Joe #321: Adventure Team Marcus
A Kindle Words character put up to a vote to become a figure in 2015, this is Adventure Team Marcus. Stiletto won the vote and became immortalized in plastic, but they were all good characters. The Hasbro illustrations of Marcus (that I remember now) were black & white, so I put him in a green uniform, but orange might have been just as likely. |

Excellent. I am particularly fond of Marcus and love seeing him get some attention.
Jim’s fourth book in the D.C. Jones and the Adventure Command series just released. All should feature Marcus. If anyone has not checked them out, I HIGHLY recommend that you do so. |

Thanks. Drawing a character with a few years on his face is a nice break from most of these characters.
It means a lot, knowing you created Stiletto, so you appreciate the Pulse characters from a unique vantage point. I admit I haven't read any of the DC Jones and the Adventure Command books (I generally just read non-fiction). Is there any connective tissue between them and ARAH continuity? |

I would say that depends upon how you want to interpret things and how much you are looking for it. Jim is really playing in a certain era and really captures the essence of that era brilliantly.
Jim, Justin Bell, Troy Osgood, and I did collaborate in a four part story that was written in round-robin fashion. The first of those tales, featuring Marcus, is reprinted in Jim’s first D.C. Jones book. The idea was that Jim would start the story and would take a month to write and publish it. Once it was released, I had a month to read it and write the second part that somehow took an aspect of his tale and featured my Kindle Worlds character. Justin followed me, with Troy wrapping it up; each of their stories, naturally, starred their original characters. It was a really fun and creative experiment and produced some really interesting storylines. My story took place during the very early days of Cobra’s existence. Justin’s was set, if I remember, around the time Spirit v3 was released, with Troy’s being set later than that. I just rereleased my first novel under the name D.C. Colt: First Salvo and will eventually get to releasing the others, including the aforementioned story that ties into Jim’s and connects to ARAH. I haven’t talked to Justin or Troy about whether they will ever make those other two stories available. That is just one way in which you can connect Jim’s stories to ARAH. I think other connections are there or can be made, but my assessment overall is that his primary focus is telling really fantastic stories reminiscent of the era in which he is writing, and he does that brilliantly. |

This will lead me to a whole new slew of characters to customize, won't it?
Are the books on amazon? |
