My A-Team custom set will be going to a friend as a birthday/promotion/Christmas/pre-retirement gift.
It needed something to go alongside it, so that the A-Team noobie knows which figure is which figure. I took one of the set photos and added numbers/names to it, like an old 80's ad might have looked. My first go was posting the names next to the figures, but it got too messy. Numbers was the way to go, and the names conveniently filled up much of the negative space in the image. |

Nice work! I'm getting that 1983 Sears Catalog vibe.
Who wouldn't want a "Wedding Dress Decoy Murdock"?!

This looks fantastic. Let people know when it goes into production.

Thanks, the set went to a friend, and he appeared to genuinely like it.
Made it worth it. |

Gimme gimme gimme! Want want want!
Oh for it to be the 80's again and that toy set to be real. Excellent layout for the ad.

The nostalgia for seeing a group of figures like in the Sears Wishbook or the first Hasbro insets is what I was aiming for with this. Sounds like I came pretty close!
Thanks. It was fun to make. Captain Crane is hidden a bit, which I didn't even notice until after had this thing up a while. Otherwise, I'm also very pleased with it. |
