One of the last great molds created for the ARAH run, 1993's Longarm was great. The character was labeled as a "First Strike Specialist" instead of an EOD, which the uniform makes pretty clear. Here I have the character doing what he should be doing- dismantling what is either an explosive or possibly a Pokeman ball.
The recolor is based on the GI Joe Collectors' Club deco, which is amazing in its own right. Last edited by Clockwise; 10-02-2022 at 08:42 PM.. |

Nice. I like the green look that the Collector's club released. I actually made a custom after seeing it as I had the parts to make a green one.

Great job (as usual)!! I agree EOD and with a bomb to dismantle would have been sweet.

Yes, the GIJCC did a nice job on that set. It's one of those where Hasbro missed the obvious choice for the figure, so it was nice to see it corrected elsewhere. Post the custom, I'd like to see it if you have photos. |

You have a great idea there with the pack-in dismantlable bomb, especially if they made something that was obviously Cobra themed. Then it could have been recycled for other Cobra characters like Firefly, too! |

Ooh, I missed Longarm! Love this one, really fun setup you have for him diffusing the bomb. His uniform, helmet and face all look fantastic. Really cool how you have like a haze effect on the protective screen so it looks like he?s fogging it up a bit.
Always liked the second color they did him in as well, another custom that I have to make since the original in orange was another favorite of mine growing up. Always had him going on missions. Glad he?s a 90?s character that you liked!

Thanks!
Wonderful character that would have been good to have seen in the NS era. |
