Every Joe #200: Wild Boar
For the 200th entry in the project, here's Wild Boar, another bland Iron Grenadiers driver. Last edited by Clockwise; 08-15-2022 at 06:33 AM.. |

Yeah. It's extra unpleasant to see one's thread glommed up with that crap.

To be fair to our newest tankers, Wild Boars probably are the cutest of Destro's legion. But while I'm pretty sure they can indeed open doors (seems it would be a necessary prerequisite to the job), I'm less convinced that they're all that smart, at least from their limited appearances in the old Marvel run that I remember.

I'll be the Devil's Advocate to say that I like the beige of Destro's legions. People think it doesn't fit with the black / red / gold color palette, but the beige is something his drivers wear.
Black / red / gold / beige. It's like Carhartts, functional thick canvas clothing. The Iron Grenadiers are more flashy and colorful depending upon their job. Now, the Undertows, Annihilators, and TARGATs are the ones who really bother me. It *could* be argued, maybe, that Undertows are colored as such because of their environment, or TARGAT coloring is such because of their job requirements or sky camouflage. But there is no excuse for Annihilators (even with their small good accents).
