Every Joe #195: Firefly

The Boba Fett of the GI Joe universe, Firefly was introduced in 1984. One of the best figures/designs in the entire ARAH run, it didn't need any re-imagining.

The recolor is based on the 1998 arctic repaint.

"The Boba Fett of the GI Joe universe." That's a good way of describing him. He remains one of the coolest looking characters in the Joeverse. The darker background reminds me of the Sunbow episode where he hid his identity by staying out of the light. Nice detailing work too! He has lots going on but you make him appear functional and not cluttered.

I'm not the first to say that, so I can't take credit. Maybe HCC788 or another reviewer said it years ago? He was much cooler before Hama retconned him to be the Blurry Master or whatever stupid name he plopped out.

Firefly looks fantastic! Killer line work on him, then love that you added the lighter gray repaint as well. Really great job on his weapons, just keep staring at his rifle. Haha. Really cool look to it.

I am not a technical artistic, so sometimes the weapons I draw look very scribbly, but I also like how this one turned out.
