No pressure, don't worry. I just want to try my hand at penciling GI Joe related comic. I look at Robert Atkins work and I'm so inspired.

I'm a professional comic artist but my style for my work is totally different from the style when I pencil.

Playing with my clutch pencil and I got the itch to draw the way Madureira pencils. I love his graphic style.





Made Stiletto a little more kickass-looking than the toy. If she got that scar, I made it so that she embodies it and made it seem like she gives as good as she gets.

I inked it with a Sharpie Ultra Fine Liner because I wasn't satisfied with my pencil.

I agree with AWOL and like all the artwork you've showcased in comments #214 and 215. The most recent makes me think of the ARAH panel where these two are helping to brace the ruins of The Pit by driving in beams and one (GH, IIRC) uses his hand instead of a sledge hammer.

The final Gung Ho / Roadblock image almost has a bit of a Chaykin / Simonson feel to it.
