Twenty Five Years ago I was introduced to my generations G.I. Joe.
And coming from playing with the Star Wars figures, and being a Military Brat these figures came at a right time. Rock 'N Roll was the very first Joe I purchased with my weekly allowance, followed closely with Snake Eyes. So with the release of the 25th anniversary addition figures, I thought I would do a Tribute to my first Joe. (I still have him by the way machine gun and all).

Great dynamic pose
I was going to suggest turning the whole thing into grayscale, but I guess it's interesting "as is" - "greenscaled" (?). The only thing that looks a little off is his machine gun? Maybe you should do a few more of these. I mean, in the same style. With the character's name on the side and the info on the top right corner, etc. I'm sure you'll have fun. And I'm guessing the next should be Snake Eyes, right? Catch ya around.

well, I am trying to decide between Original Snake Eyes "Commando" and Snake Eyes "Ninja". Either that or a Cobra Trooper.

Haha, I used to love that figure so much as a kid! i used to call him machine gunner! some other kid tried to tell me otherwise. I think my response was something like "next your gonna tell me this isn't bazooka man"
Awsome art! Love the green in there! (i liked the second version of him better) |

Great work!
One critique for you though. Anytime you draw an American Flag on a uniform, it needs to be backwards with the starfield face the front of the body. "The stars lead you into battle" Here's a pic of me in uniform for reference. |
