Dude, your uniform/costume designs are awesome. I'd love those as toys.

So I've had this idea on the back burner for many months now...
I was watching this documentary on body modification and there was an African tribe that used scarification to make their skin like a crocodile..with Joe always on the brain I immediately thought about this guy and how cool it would be if he was such a bad ass mofo that he went through the horrible process to toughen his skin. everything else just kinda fell into place after that. the croc has a mechanized lock on its mouth that can be unhinged with the press of a button for attack mode. not much new here I almost always do Scarlet a certain way and don't really want to change anything too much
so this is really just improving on my old custom figure. I have incorporated a few more VvV aspects into her design I always really liked that version of her but wasn't thrilled with the colors..the red hair and green suit always made me think elf or leprechaun or something.. love everyone of these designs, No doubt I love the ARAH designs but if I ever wanted updated versions based on those characters then these are exactly what I would want! you ramped up the cool factor x 10, great use of colors and the extra details you incorporated are brilliantly updated but reminsence of the original character. I would create a whole new display just for these, they are too cool to be mixed in with Hasbros designs

this is the post slaughter marauder spirit
in my comic he was going to be a more highly evolved soldier Sgt Slaughter was going to be the one who brought him to the "next level" of training..I had a few lines written out where 2 joes were going to be talking about spirit while he was off in the background one of the joes would ask "so what did he do wrong to go get sent to slaughter?" the other joe would reply "the crazy son of a bitch went there on his own by special request." as far as design goes...his indian style leg fringe almost doubles as ghillie for jungle warfare his back now has a giant thunder bird stretching from shoulder to shoulder and he wields 2 hatchets with almost paranormal accuracy Last edited by IIIzoeIII; 08-21-2012 at 03:16 AM.. |

this design ended up very transformers looking
I along with many other seem to like the destroyed bat head where you can see it's eye lens under the damaged shield so I just removed the face cover so the eyes are visible thought it looked kinda neat the idea here is kinda like the Evo bat I created years ago for cataclysm only it's a little more clunky and dumbed down but all the markIIs weapons are stored inside it's body and arms there is no need for a side arm or grenades it has a rocket system on it's back with all the shells protected inside its highly protective armor preventing joes from shooting it's explosives while still attached. the weapon depicted here is a freak'n laser beam weapon that doubles as the bats wrists the devastating high frequency beams can annihilate almost any target it only has a yellow wrap around harness for strapping on supplies to bring out to the human troops on the field.
