Hi Guys,
Well after just having an "experience" with a questionable ebayer, which I regard as me dodging a bullet and then some, I thought it was worth giving people here a heads up. Today I bit the bullet and decided to list my MOTUC stuff on ebay to get rid of it, when I received the following message from bunman2005 regarding the sealed MOTUC Fisto and sealed MOTUC Kobra Kahn I listed: I don't know why, but for some reason that looks like an alias that the GI Joe world re-noun scam artist bobman would use. You definitely missed a bullet with that guy.

Thank you Sergeant Major. My unsatisfactory transaction is with GI JoeOneStop.com. The owner also sells on eBay under GIJOEdealer2000. I put in an order back in late June and never heard anything. I sent an email a few weeks later and he said his dad was sick and the order "should have went out". I accepted that and gave him another week or so. Nothing. I emailed him several times and never got any response. He has good feedback on eBay but I'm guessing he doesn't take his personal site as seriously. Anyone else had this kind of experience or am I alone?
Have a read of his feedback too, it's hilarious. I've never seen someone flip the f*ck out so badly when replying to negative feedback. Some of the older ones are gone, but he went on a tear a couple years back and opened every response with "you retard". Classy, classy gentleman.

Tell me about it. Ironically, that Kobra Kahn auction is now at the $96USD mark with 4 hours to go, meaning that it's already $4AUD more expensive than my listing and the shipping to Australia is $30 more. Gotta love it when people cut off their nose to spite their face.

Well fellow tankers we have another name to add to the list of bad
Ebay sellers. He goes by the username 3genfbodylover I won his auction late last for a NJCC custom cobra mortal auction number(141450285167) when I get up this morning and get ready to pay I noticed he cancelled the transaction. He hit me with this B.S line Dear bayareatoysandcollectibles, Sorry this item was sold at my table at my table at the flea market. Do not send payment as payment well be refunded - 3genfbodylover Obviously he did not get what he thought he was going to get for the figure. If you want to sell an item for a certain price then you shouldn't post it auction style and start the auction at such a low price trying to bait people in "BEWARE" |

I saw that. I was watching the auction, but forgot to bid. Sounds shady to me. Sorry to hear that.

Personally though you REALLY gotta be more careful with paypal deadlines. I bought a 1:18 M1 A1 abrams from a guy with 99% positive feedback and he tried to delay sending me the tank until the deadline at the 45 day. Hmmm, I wonder why. Even high feedback people will try to cheat you if you leave yourself vulnerable, so never give them the chance. |

I won't post the sellers name as I'm still trying to sort through our transaction, but here's the long/short: I won 4 transformers over the weekend. Auction style; ended pretty low. Got the 4 bots for about $25. I request a total...the response was that shipping was going to be $23.20...on 4 minibots (?) I sent the seller a message asking him to check his numbers as there's no way that 4 minibots would come to that high a price on shipping. Maybe $7 and that's at the high end. I would even send $10 to help the seller cover costs, but shipping as high as the auction itself? Nope. The seller comes back, stating that PayPal won't let him change the shipping price...huh? You can easily send an invoice through eBay and easily change the shipping price. I'm still awaiting a response from the seller. I'll post up here should things go south. |

I never had any trouble with him when I ordered my stuff from him but yeah sounds like a nightmare. Sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience with that store.

Seems to be the case more often than not lately.
