I won a ARAH figure from this seller on 06/03. I paid immediately after winning the auction. The seller left feedback for me on 06/06 stating that the item "was on it's way!"

I normally give sellers 2 weeks before I start asking questions, but I found it odd that things that I purchased after winning this bid had already arrived, yet this package, that was supposedly shipped on the 6th had not yet arrived.

I checked the guy's feedback yesterday and low & behold, he's received a negative from another buyer who claims that the seller kept stating "its been shipped!" but the buyer never received his package.

I e-mailed the Seller yesterday. To his credit, he did respond today, but his commentary left me even more uncomfortable than before:

So sorry about the delay ... all of my packages were sent back to me because Paypal goofed up my shipping labels ... if it is not there by Tuesday I will offer you a refund,

PS: Please find it in your heart to not leave bad feedback


Now, this definitely strikes me as odd (for lack of a more appropriate term) as I've never had "PayPal goof up my shipping labels" in the 12+ years I've been selling. Plus, if PayPal "goofed" your labels, wouldn't/shouldn't you be a bit more proactive in contacting your buyers to let them know?

Either way, careful with this one. Who knows if he's telling the truth, but I find his claim highly dubious.

That sounds real fishy. If Paypal "goofed up" my shipping labels, I would definitely be proactive about letting buyers know.

Agreed. The seller has already responded to the eBay Inquiry stating that the package should/will be here tomorrow, Monday, June 18th. I guess we'll see, but I'm curious as to why I'm finding all of this pertinent information out after filing a INR with eBay.

Just a quick update:

The item in question arrived today. Remember how the seller claimed that PayPal "messed up" the shipping labels? Yeah, well that was of course false (go figure) as the figure wasn't shipped until 06/15.

What adds insult to injury here was the packing job this person did - The figure, along with a full card back...were wrapped in 8x11 white paper. That's it. Oh, sorry, some masking tape to hold it together.

IMO, he's definitely one to avoid. Hopefully he realizes that communication is an important factor in transactions and cleans up his act, as the only thing he hit out of the park here was his description of the item in question.

Nah, a neutral will suffice. I received the item and it was as described. The shipping time and false information is what merited a neutral. If it wouldn't have arrived, a negative was definitely going to be left.
