He is a deadbeat buyer. No payment, no response.

I just closed my case w/ eBay and they say his account will be marked,
but I've had this happen before and nothing ever shows up!

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up!

do you mean you have had a case where a buyer will be "marked" before?

If so, they will receive a non-paying buyer strike. I believe after 3 of them, their account gets closed.

All sellers are going to want to avoid bidder Jgoldtoy. He claims the items you sent are damaged or pieces missing wanting a partial refund. If you don't, he leaves you negative feedback. He the resells then items under a different account name (liquidroc). More on this scam artist here:

Yes, another non-paying bidder.

I closed the case and eBay credited me and said the buyer's account would be 'marked' but I never saw anything appear on their feedback page.

Unless the '3 strikes' only appear behind the scenes?

Just added to my blocked list. when a buyer receives un unpaid item strike against their acct, you will not be able to see it on their profile page. I called eBay about this regarding a deadbeat buyer I had and they told me due to confidential reasons, only the buyer will receive a message informing them of their acct being issued the strike. besides the buyer, no one else will see this anywhere on eBay

Seller advertised PayPal payment. When the seller sent me my invoice, he double-dipped me on shipping. When I asked him to combine shipping, he claimed there was a PayPal problem and said he would invoice me again later. He then sends me a Moneybookers invoice where I have to sign up with this site and give personal information including my SSN. I told the seller I did not want to open a Moneybookers account and then he promptly canceled the transaction. I bid on this auction with the understanding that he would take PayPal.

I have done my fair share of ebay, taobao and non-auction site purchases from Asia and this is the FIRST time I ever had an issue with a seller. Not sure what his deal is or was. We closed the transaction, but I wanted to leave feedback here.

Dude-report his ass to eBay. I wouldn't mess around with that garbage.
