Fred, many thanks and to all those who support me. I am by all means not perfect and dealing with high volume things are yes overlooked BUT I ALWAYS take care of problems to those who deserve them. As "prowl" here why would fail to mention two very important messages in this forum? And YES these were sent back and forth and the truth. I have no reason to lie "honesty is the key to wisdom" truely believe this am I wise(?) well would like to think I'm on the way but learning everyday about individuals who try and destroy what takes so hard to build. To everyone hanging/dangling onto Prowl's nutz here let go he is no good. The only thing he is "prowling" is his next victim on eBay. Sarcastic? Bad English? Why explain yourself so much, Vincent? You are a liar and I needed to make sure before I did what I did.

True, but thanks to Maffia movies and television, "Capice" in conversational english usage comes across as antagonistic. I'm sure it was not meant to be but how many of you when hearing someone end a sentense spoken or written in engilsh ended with "Capice" does't feel like a threat from some Hollywood Mob hit-man? It's a cliché now.

Of course I'm not in anyway excusing his poor customer service and the response. I think that was a major overraction.

One has to be really careful how they word their text messages, because without the inflection of speech or facial expressions from the "Speaker" it can be really, really easy to misconstrude the meaning behind the words on the screen. All it takes is for the receiver to be in a bad mood to project their own meaning into the message. That's been a major cause of trouble between my wife and I when sending text messages in the past.

See?

This is what Im talking about - why be so aggressive if you are trying to convey yourself as an honest businessman?

If you want to run an ebay store and build up a good name, overreacting to your unhappy customers messages and becoming aggressive is not a good way to do it in my opinion.

Those that seek respect, DO NOT go into customer service. I speak from experience here.

Customer service is not about receiveing respect, it's about kissing a$s, taking crap and keeping your customers happy so they keep giving you their money.

My advice to both of you. Just be very, very careful how you write your messages.

Thank you. Always open to opinions and advice. I have attempted but not always available to help. My neighbors kid sometimes and my wife both not able to as my wife travels for work and is gone for example 26 days this month, neighbor for a young kid has a tremendous amount of stuff going on for his age. Communication is key in this and I agree, I always reach out always have always will. This is not a big profit making thing for me as for prices many already know probably ( not all of course but a lot ) some of the cheapest prices on eBay so to get help it all cones down to money to unfortunately like everything thing in this world and by all means I am not greedy. You can only communicate so much to certain people. I state in eBay 10 for shipping and handling ( just for worst case scenarios (? Spelling ) and again reach out whenever needed. I will manage to improve somehow.

Seems like everyone else is adding their 2 cents so here are mine.

As a buyer on Ebay, as long as the seller is active in their communication, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

As a seller, it's up to me to keep track of what I need to send out. Hell, even here for B/S/T I physically write down who gets what, and will check it off the list once it's shipped at the post office.

As to the comments. I would take "capice" as insulting. Maybe if you had been using a joking tone through all of your messages that wouldn't have come across as such. But If I received that email I would have been pissed. All I can hear in my head is Danny Devito from Goodfellas and to me it sounds like a veiled threat.

Cheers!

Sellers are needless to say wary of this on ebay. Maybe it was fair, maybe it was unfair, but that was how he felt. The buyer didn't like his attitude in dealing with it. And left negative feedback.

That should have been the end of the story. A bad seller, in my estimation, is someone who deals unfairly. You got your money back. You got stuff. You came out WAY ahead. The seller now gets bad mouthed on ebay, bad mouthed here and maybe all over the internet. Maybe he had a bad day, but you got your "revenge" once - how much does this guy have to pay for you to feel justified?

Maybe you should view this thread a bit more open-minded, capice?
-You misunderstood the point of what I was saying. I think I'll actually let you continue stewing in ignorance. Good luck.

Thank you for the missing messages. True, those things were also said, but I don't have them in my email folder to post here.

Regardless, I just would like to have it confirmed that the following are true, just so that I don't seem like the ONLY rude jerk: you did in fact take three weeks to send my first package, and two weeks to send the second.

As for missing items, I'm not going to argue that with you on here, since the only one that can argue that is me. I REALLY DIDN'T get that stuff, but that really isn't the point anymore. I'm aware that normally you're a great seller and quite kind, that's why I bought from you a second time. I just don't feel like I have such nice things to say like other customers do, that's all. Furthermore, the final message you sent me was considerably unkind and not very professional. I never did that to you, so I don't know why you did that to me.
I came in as soon as i heard you were talking trash about me on here. Your in Canada it takes a while to your/any items. I am on East Coast and no i do not do this for a living and can't get to everywhere that i need as if this was the only thing going on. Customs might have help up your items maybe not but in my/all auctions in states 10 days handling and just for US so you should expect maybe longer especially for out of the country. I keep communication and yes it was a while for whatever to be sent obviously you need very prompt service for someone out of the country and i must say i am not in position to offer that. I just don't see how two vital messages were missing in your box? so be it. I really don't know what to believe and will never know the honest truth. he said, she said all i know is what i have witnessed myself and whether or not i am in the right or in the wrong it just seemed shady. good luck on ebayin.
