Uh oh-sorry that you became ANOTHER victim. Dan was an ok guy ten years ago. He would hook me up and let me search around in his extra parts ect. I would get great deals on stuff and parts I needed. As his business grew, so did his attitude. He was dating a wonderful, sweet girl-he screwed that up. Everyone locally know who he is. I would talk to collector's from all over. When they heard I was from RI, they would ask me if I knew the guy and ever went to his store. When I said said yes, they would ALWAYS ask what his problem is. Thank gawd he is not a doctor because he would have ZERO bed side manner. If you went into his store ready to drop $1,000 he would act like he was being inconvenienced when you asked a question. He doesn't even greet you at the door.

He has had a chip on his shoulder and a hair accross his a$$ for years! Talk about a total jerk to deal with! I went into his RI Mall store once and "tried" asking him a question and he just brushes me off with a one word answer. Okay i'm going to spend money in your store and you're giving me an attitude? It's customers like us that allowed you to buy that black hummer you truck around town in.

Anyways, I refuse to drop one penny in that store. He has zero customer service skills, and quite frankly just an all around a$$hole to deal with. I hope the moderator's don't get offended by my language, but there are no other words to describe this guy.

Yeah, thing is I actually had a collectible store at one time and still have connections/know quite a few comic shop owners in my area (North Alabama). Not one has ever had a crappy attitude like this guy, personally I'm not sure how he stays in business with the way he treats customers. He has terrible customer service and he packs his merchandise like crap.

I won a vintage ARAH GI Joe MISB Persuader from him, it was just "thrown" in a box with some packing peanuts. Didn't take the time to bubble wrap it and had the nerve to write "from your lord" inside of the box. Needless to say, when it arrived one of the flaps was open and considering I had hoped to get it AFA'd at the next show in Atlanta, I wasn't too pleased. Oh well, I can probably make it work but I won't buy another thing from that dirt bag ever again.

Transformers G1 Scorponok 100% complete original - eBay (item 150407803234 end time Jan-25-10 14:13:39 PST)

I saw an auction on eBay for a Scorponok. The seller had 0 (zero) feedback. I asked if he could add a buy it now so I can buy the item. He says he can't put a buy it now because he has less than a feedback of 5. I said ok we can do the transaction on Paypal. So we agree.

I sent him the money last Monday through Paypal with credit card funding. He promises to ship the item on Saturday and provide me a tracking number. He reasons that he has to ship other items for sale and that he only wants to make one trip to the post office. I say ok since it sounds reasonable. Sunday I don't get the email with tracking number. Monday I don't get it again. So I email the seller and ask if he's sent the item.

Seller says that he contacted Paypal and that the "the funds were on hold for 7 labor days" by Paypal. The email looked suspicious so I contacted Paypal. Paypal stated that the funds hit his account automatically after I sent the funds over. They checked his account and found that it's not active anymore. Paypal said that the seller closed his Paypal accout after the payment was sent to him. Seller looked like a fraud. They advised to open a dispute and to contact my credit card company.

So I did, but I miss the Scorponok. Funny thing is that as I was speaking to my credit card company, the rep asks what item was this all about. When I say 1987 TF Scorponok, he laughs saying he used to have one when he was a kid.

I just cancelled shipping with USPS as you requested. You should have letted me know that you were not interested in the item to save me the packing time and the time in requesting the shipping.

Total BS Had he done what he claimed, he would have just accepted the claim.
This is my response:

I called Paypal and they said that the money was received in your account. It was received on the day I sent you the money. It doesn't correspond to your claim that they are holding up the money. Please accept the claim in Paypal so we can just close out the transaction.

If you had cancelled shipping with USPS through Paypal, you would have received a tracking number from USPS/Paypal at the time you purchased the label from their website. Please accept the claim so we close out the transaction.
